Return Lines

Hi and am new here and also kinda new to IDI been long time scene i how own one ok what need to know what size are the o-rings for the return line caps and the return line hoses. just got this truck got drive it 500 miles to get home and have one cap leaking not sure if it the O-Ring or hose. last owner has replace the driver side and never did the other side. So just want for the time get the one cap from leaking intill get home to other kit for it

The o-rings are #111's, get viton if you can. The hose however can be either 3/16" or 1/4", depending on which style of return line fittings you have. This just came up recently, but I can't recall which thread it was in.....I'm thinking your '94 should be 1/4", but not positive.

It is rare that you can do one cap and make it work. The problem is that these orings get heat hardened, but they generally hold until they are disturbed, there is no way to do a partial side without disturbing the others. I have heard of some getting lucky though.

lol i was not lucky..... i ended up breaking the brittle caps .... i used vition o-rings and the return line is 1/4in ended up having to run to the parts store and buying there kit...... for 80 as i needed my truck the next morning...

Maybe i,ll should just leave it alone right now in till get home with it just don't want problem going home i am pull 16,500 lb 5th wheel with it.
