Question for the body and paint guys

I've been toying with the idea of sprucing up the interior of my truck. Right now its pretty bare in there consisting of a couple of bucket seats, leaking windhshield rubber, and a shifter.

My question is; approximately how much paint is needed to paint the interior of the cab? pint? quart?

Thanks
Bobby

If you are painting everything inside including behind the gas tank, floor, roof, dash, door posts, etc. you will need at least a quart.

I suggest buying a little more than you think you'll need too. It's a lot less stressful than trying to stretch enough to work. Plus you'll have some for touch ups if you need.

LOL....

...so many comedians!

Not quite sure on the "final" color yet, I've got a lot to choose from....lol.
I'm leaning towards the orginal Meadow Green. I guess I only need finish color on the dash, doors, door jambs and around the back glass.

I'm just barely starting in on the "pacing back and forth and hand wringing" part of this adventure.

About 6 or 7 Rattle Cans - Save time, no need to tape, coat the glass, chrome and rubber with butter - Wipe off when done
Taa Daa

(Just came up with that idea)

Why stop at just the interior?

Seriously, I would get two quarts, mixed in a one gallon can, they get a much closer color match when mixing once instead of twice.

Ya, while you are at it, you might as well pull the body to get all the hard to reach areas...

Hvlp Gun will use less paint than a conventional gun, which you prolly already know.
Meadow green covers nice. 2 quarts in a gallon can is a real nice idea.
VASELINE the windows --not butter. Butter is for toast.......but Dick should know...LOL

AMEN! As long as you dont drink too many frosties its a nice weekend job. Actually my favorite part of building trucks is the glass install and building of the doors. It just shows a quality job compared to the "mask and shoot"

Besides you said your windshield leaks, and you'll never regret new vent seals and anti-rattle, its money well spent.

I was going to say two rattle cans, hammertone black covers in one coat.
