Doors and Dash

I wanted to go with a "Tiki-Hut" feel on the inside. The doors and dash were re done with a composite leather and a woven "mesh" that I thought looked like a straw mat you might find at a bar on the beach. I am not 100% sure what I'm going to do with the "top part" of the dash yet.

Just joined this forum and chapter......

Looking forward to learning more about my truck and also modifying my truck. The threads in this forum seem to be respectful. Members try to help each other.

I live in Parker and just ordered a F-250.

Greetings

New member from the Springs
Just picked up an '01 V10 Excursion to pull my race car.

It seems to have all the mods I would've put on one:
-- SD springs
-- Bilsteins and steering stabilizer
-- Redhead Steering Box
-- ProdigyII Brake Ctlr
-- RAS
-- Hellwig rear sway
-- back up camera
-- 5-Star Tuner

Hopefully it's everything I hope it is....

Any v10 specialists in the Colorado area?

First Truck

I retired from the Marines in 2012and moved to Colorado Springs. Unlike most I carried no debt into retirement. On June 1st I traded my 2004 Saturn Vue with 60k miles for my first truck (There was never a need for a truck in SOCAL) I purchased a 2010 F250 power stroke super duty, Cabelas edition, 44k miles. For $45k. A deal I couldn't pass up once I saw it. I took it to a friend who is a mechanic and he made me promise to tell the salesman after we sealed the deal. After signing the paperwork I took the salesman outside to let him know. He missed around $15k in options that they didn't know about. They are airbag suspension on all wheels capable of lifting the truck from the standard 6" to 24". An 160lb air compressor with hoses under the back bumper and a pro air filter. The salesman was pissed.

I have a few questions.

1) I had to send off to Ca to get a title for the car I traded in. How long does that take? I've heard up to 8 weeks. Can I lose my truck because the CA DMV takes forever?
2) Does anyone know where to get a center jumpseat for the front seats. I have a center console with a large open pit with a lid. But since there are 6 in my family currently we all can't fit into the truck.

Hi Chad, I'm Chris, nice to meet ya.

Quick suggestion - fill out your Profile (in the UserCP) so people can see where you're from when you post, OK? Geographic location is important sometimes.... Thanks!

Fort Collins F2 & F100

Hello! I just found this regional forum, although I've been hanging around on FTE for a few months. I live just north of Fort Collins and really enjoy the area... especially because of the great access to classic car and truck parts. I drive a 1966 F100 on the daily and am fixing it up one piece at a time.
So far:
Rebuilt 1966 289 with 1965 heads, 400 ish CFM Holley 2 BBL, and Crane Came HiPo style cam/lifters and timing set. (All new components: Fuel pump, water pump, etc.)
351w Exhaust manifolds
New drum brakes all around with upgraded 2 res master cylinder
Fresh Tires
Repaired gauge cluster

Soon to come:
Weather-stripping and fresh windshield.

I also have a 1952 F2, which is getting a frame off restoration and a 292 y block... the body will not be restored though as it will be a rat. Check out my instagram @rattyfordf2

Just saying hi here. Long time resident of NoCo (Ft. Collins & now Loveland) and just got back into the Ford family of vehicles after something like a 30 year break.

I just got the truck in my .sig. I still have 2 1967 mustangs that are retirement project cars - one of which I've owned since high school.

Today I'm preparing for my first long trip in "Lee", which is what I named my 2020 F-450 Platinum.
