78/79 Pictures wanted

I am or was in the process of bringing an old 78 Bronco Custom back to life until well....life happened, now the project sits dormant awaiting my return. I am not doing a full restoration but I would like to finally own an externally rust-free second gen. Ford Bronco. Meaning, the undercarriage will still have a few sore spots that I might just cover with a rust killer but to the average joe looking at the outside of the truck, it will seem free of any rust. I picked up a set of NOS rear quarter panels and plan to replace those after I'm done with the front fenders. My only question is, how do I seperate the quarter panel from the B-pillar? I've got a spot-weld cutter that I've used on truck bedsides before but I've never done a Q-panel on a Bronco and don't know if it's spot welded on or glued.
If anyone has any restoration pictures of their 78/79 Bronco, even if the photos don't show the rear quarters being removed, I'd still like to see them. If your build is not back to stock I'd still like to see what you've got. I just love 78/79 Broncos and I'm tired of being that guy that only sees nice ones online or once every 2 or 3 years catches a glimpse of one drive by. Nobody has any taste in vehicles where I live and the only nice vehicles I see are either at the car show or in the junkyard.

I know that the quarter panel is spot welded every 4 inches or so, then at the B pillar its got glue/putty and I believe its got a spot weld or two.

I guess I could always climb up into my barn rafters and pull the quarter panels out of their boxes and check and see where all the holes for spotwelds are? I have seen many b-pillar joints crack so I figured it was held together with some sort of adhesive but I don't know what type to use. Would panel bonding adhesive be suitable? Still I'd like to see some build pics guys!

I know, I'm the same way when it comes to computers. By the time I catch up with latest thing, that thing has been outdated and everyone else is two steps ahead. Oh well, I'd rather be out in the woods muddin' than spending my life keeping up with the latest technological gadgets. One of these days I'll buy one of those fancy phones that use satellites and have no cords. I wish we would all go back to telegraphs, catching and killing our own food, and cutting down trees and building our houses by hand. I just might get my wish if our country stays on it's current path. Bring it on, a country boy can survive.

Well, I can't help you since I don't have a 78/79 Bronco to take pics of.

Here is a picture of mine. It's pretty nasty. Going to remain the same color but am going to go with a mid 70's grill with the round headlights.

Haha ya well i tried.

1979 Bronco Ranger XLT, dad bought new as 1st car. 400, racing cam, 4BBL edelbrock, dual exaust, grill guard with cibie lights, new HD radiator, CB radio, PA speaker, dual factory batteries, front seats out of a 92-96 F250, aftermarket sun roof (i hate it!), 15" wheels with 33" Goodyear duratracs, everything else is stock. Was repainted once about 18 years ago to original colors. About to go in for a full restoration and new 460 from a 95 F350.

1974 F250 4X4 Custom. Soon to be a Ranger package. Std cab with 8' bed. 390, racing cam, lifters, Holley 4BBL double pumper, recently rebuilt heads, new big mirrors (original ford mirrors), new double roller timing chain, custom headers leading to single 3" exaust with flowmaster (diverts exaust 3 times), factory height, 16" MT wheels, 35" Goodyear Duratracs, 1978 front Dana 44 (disc brakes), 1978-1979 Steering wheel, electric fuel pump, custom 40 gal rear fuel tank (my own design), police strobes (hideaways), modern look headlights (h4 bulb), conversion to power steering, toolbox in bed side, custom hitch, new headliner. Slowly getting most parts together so i can fully restore with new paint to chrome trim to interior. (my dad is paying to redo the bronco). I also have a custom light bar made by another FTE'r that attaches to the gutters
