06 6 liter/shut off at highway speed

good evening everyone!! 06 6 liter shut down at 65 mph, and hasnt started since, hooked up AE tool, and fuel gauge, have 52 psi of fuel pressure, ficm at 48-49 v. ipcr showing while cranking in the yellow at 87.4 %, spoke to a local shop who said command the ipcr to 100% and put air to it to hear where it is leaking, got the fitting in the valve cover and found that i can command ipcr at 0% to 90% ,,, but when i do 100% the tool screen gauge returns to zero, so i stopped the test till i can find out for sure what the heck i'm doing . any ideas??????????

Well just comand it to 90% and then put the air to it for some reason 85% rings a bell I dont have an AE so Im not any help there

But does sound like you have a good HPO leak

All in all I bet its the STC fitting that blew out

Yup,it's up under the intake. There was a thread with a video for the air test but I can't find it now. Basically, you can tell left/right head, oil pump area etc. Gets you started in the right direction.

Could be your STC just failed all at once instead of slowly.

Everytime this happened to me, it was my IPR.

I was having the no start hot condition and then the truck died luckily in the driveway and wouldnt start back. Ended up replacing stand pipes and dummy plugs and the stc fitting. My stc fitting was completely blown in two. Good luck.

this same thing happened to me. ford did the air test and were 110% sure it was the STC fitting. However, they started tearing into it and found out the top of one of the injectors blew off. Could be that also.
