Thumbs up Got an Early Christmas Present for my Truck...

today i got my new T500...want to thank Joey for his fast work and shipping and Clay for getting it to me in a short time...

placed the order on sunday nite 11/20...Jim(rat49f6) sent out the core on tuesday and i have it back already...

with a little help from the NEST gang in NJ, the pump will be installed next weekend. we are planning to do some AE data runs first so we can post results then. i am having a problem at WOT losing HP oil...duty cycle is like 80+% and the pressure drops to about 1800psi...currently running a modded 17...i can wait to "feel" the results and the drive home from NJ should be a great one...

just wanted pass along a huge thanks to Joey at Terminator and Clay at Riffraff...it great to know that when you need something, and place an order expecting it at a certain time, these guys always come through....thanks again

Chris I'd like to see the data logs also.Franko, I don't see injectors in your sig., so when I put the T500 in my early 99 I gained almost 2mph at 78mph freeway driving. I really think it helps the e99.

i dont have the graphs yet...but here are the numbers. i may be a little off with the terms and the numbers might be a touch different, but this is my understanding and i KNOW the truck is running at top shape.

on a modded 17 in 120 performance from Jody in 4th gear-
Max out DC at 81% and pressures would start at about 2800 and would stead out at about 1500. the truck would pull about 24 psi of boost and not seem to "go" anymore.

new t500 in 120 performance in 4th gear-
not sure of DC, but the truck would hold 2250 and the boost kept going up. we only were able to hit a couple short hills. once i hit WOT, it only took a few seconds for the SES lite to trip for over boost. and the turbo kept "pulling" until i left of the throttle.
this was also at operating temp, but only about 5 miles on the new pump(didnt get all the air out, but dont know if that matters) we got done too late to make some great long runs.

overall, i can feel an incredible difference in the power, both low and top end. i did a short flat run after work. had about 150 mile on the new pump. DC was 38% and 2350 icp in 100 performance.
from what i have learned, this pump flows more volume, so the pressures shouldnt be compared to each other. but again, im still learning these systems. i did do a hard hill run with about 100 miles on the pump last night in 80 econ and was at 80% DC and 2400 icp. i dont like the 80%, but there still could be air. next GTG i will have more runs done to see what the graphs look like.

i am very impressed with the performance of this pump. it really woke up this 200k+ truck up. im sure the tuning also plays a major role. let me know what you think...

Chris not bad numbers for AD injectors. Hybrids would really be good. The 2mpg I got was in the 80e tune of jody's and in my e99 CC, so I went from a 15 HPOP to the T500. I use to say that alot on here but didn't mention that fact this time. In my book every e99 should go to the T500 HPOP.

Here is the info on Chris's HPOP upgrade:

Before (modded 17)

After (T-500) - We literally had only a couple of miles post upgrade on the truck when taking these runs due to time constraints.

We plan on taking another run next time Chris and I get together early next year.

...and for those of you that might have logworks 3 installed, here are the files.

Mod'ed 17.log

T500.log
