Hiccups

I have a 2005 f-250 ps and the truck has been hiccuping between 60 and 80 mph. If I cruise at 60 then get on the truck to pass it hiccups twice then picks up and goes. Warm or cold doesn't matter. However it does this intermittently. My fuel milege is around 14 use to be around 17. Thinking maybe an injector going bad?
Brought the truck into ford back in May but they couldn't diagnose the problem.
Since then the truck has been in for a turbo, egr, intercooler.
The truck has also had 2 High Pressure Fuel Oil Pumps in the last 2 yrs.
This has me a little bit worried on leaving me stranded somewhere in the middle of nowhere when its 30 below out.
I travel to northern MN alot and will leave my truck on the ice all day.
I do start the truck everyday and leave it run for an hour.
I try to run #1 all winter and additives to prevent gelling.
Any input would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Jim

You idle for an hour each day? Do you have a high idle mod (highly recommended if you idle that much)

Did a Ford dealership diagnose the bad HPOP's - both times? That is unusual - especially for the newer style HPOP's.

So what specifically has been done since May?? You say Turbo, EGR, Intercooler - but what does that mean?

New turbo or cleaning?
EGR - do you mean the valve, the cooler, both?
Intercooler - cleaning or a new one?

I would pull the EGR first and make sure it is clean, high or low boost from the turbo would set a code. Just a thought but you have to start somewhere.

maybe it's the turbo also experiencing some sort of stiction since he lets it idle for an hour?

I only Idle for a period of time to keep the truck from gelling. Do you think 15 min would be suffficient?
Ford did diagnose hpop both times (Left me stranded both times)
Since May
New Turbo
New Egr Valve not cooler
New intercooler
Turbo was replaced because it would over boost when I pulled trailers.
Codes have not shown up when the truck hiccups.
Could it possibly be the tranny when it downshifts with no load or maybe a relay going bad?
The truck has warranty for another 40k but ford cannot find the problem.

my truck is doing a similar thing cruising along in od at about 1900rpm if i press the gas a little bit just to give it a little more power it "hiccups" kinda like its missing but my boost and rpms dont change along with it... its also a random thing. itll do it really in any gear after it gets to a lower rpm when maintaining speeds... and you give it a tad more gas...once it downshifts its fine at the higher rpm... and it idles fine... i have no idea.

Just another shot in the dark, have the dealer take a look at the BARO sensor, a slight tap if it is bad will change the readings.
