The stock offset is 0
The stock backspacing is 4.5"

So if the new wheels are wider and the offset is 0 the backspacing will change. If the backspacing stays at 4.5" the offset will be a negative offset.

Conflicting data on Stock OEM Backspacing and Offset

Quad Racer, there is a lot of conflicting information about the Ford Wheel specs. Can you please quote the source of your 0mm offset and 4.5" backspacing for the stock OEM wheels? This conflicts directly with the official Ford spec sheet, which says the stock OEM 17x8, 18x8 and 20x8 wheels all have "Inset" of 40mm, where "Inset" means positive "Offset". Here are the specs for 2010 which are the same for 2011:

https://www.evernote.com/shard/s5/sh...9bd416f596c042

The full spec:
https://www.fleet.ford.com/truckbbas...kups_PRINT.PDF

Am I missing something?

If you'd like I can delete my first post. It is wrong information that I posted almost a year ago.

It's great to have another wheel fitment thread revived.
