Thumbs up TEXAS CHRISTMAS WISH LIST

OK I figure this would be a good time to start a thread where you can post things you would like to get for Christmas. Anything at all used, new, old, or broken, as many items as you want.

well I guess I'll start
1) 1940 Ford Deluxe convertible project car
2) tools (any kind I'm just a tool freak)
3) a puppy (yes, dammit, a puppy)
4) a 2003 F-350 Diesel with a 12" lift 4 door

And of course good will, safety, and prosperity for everyone I know

Wish it was that easy.

Hey how about one more- - -
Share a few late night beers with some FTE brothers on a beach in Texas, shooting the chit and forgeting about tomorrow and laughing our asses off.

That kinda sounds familar for some reason...

I'd like a Ruger SR1911, but since they're on some outrageous back order, it looks like I'll have to wait.

That's the one. If you can find one, there is no wait to get it. If you talk to your favorite dealer and ask him to order you one, the wait is several months to over a year depending on who you talk to.

I've seen a few online go for a couple hundred over MSRP. The honest dealers are sellling them for a couple hundred under MSRP, but you have to wait in line. That or wait till they get the 2nd line running and get caught up with demand. Then look for a deal on a slightly used one.

Current bid is $710. Lots of places list them at or below $650 if you wait. Others list it even less if you wait.

Dear Santa.

This year for Christmas I would like to have

1) a smart phone
2) stuff to outfit my new camper
3) tools
4) the civilian ignition kit for my Pinz
5) a partridge in a pear tree
6) eight ladies dancing (oops, maybe not - Dawn will scalp me...)

I hope Chris, Rock, Robert, and everyone on FTE have the best Christmas ever!

Chris
I thought Ruger got bought out and that the new manufacture was not making them that well. Right? Wrong?
