We made it home with the 302 and C4. Bought it from the nicest man you'd ever meet. His guaranty that the engine is good was . . . "You know where I live." Told me to stop by in the '68 and take him for a ride. LOL!!!!

He's built a 400 and is puttinf it in the Fairmont the 302 came out of. Should be runner!

Good to have someone else in here, I get tired of talking to David. LOL. I have been at the truck auction all day. They had some good deals. I didn't have my camera to take pic. They had a 71 F-100 that went for $7700.00. A 2000 F-350 power stroke for $5500.00.

I know I'm a bit of a bore Steve, it just goes with the territory. You turning over these trucks quick enough to make a profit?

Hope everyone has a good week in the countdown to Christmas.

Good Morning to everyone. Sorry so long, but I have been spending a lot of time with Ole Betsy. I had hoped to have her road ready by the 4th (did not happen). So promised I would have her ready before Christmas. I made it. Finished up with the signal lights, safety sticker and insurance last week. I am driving her everyday. Will spend some time now trying to learn how to post pic here so I can show her off. Harley

Wednesday/humpday once again. Hope everyone is getting it done.

Harley, if you need help with those photos, PM me & I'll help you with em'.

Steve, where's the pics of that shop? I'd post pics of mine, but if Barry still came around he'd tell you its just a junk pile with a roof that is a leg break waiting to happen.

I almost forgot to tell yall. I will be going this weekend to buy a 1964 Fairlane. It has the 260 engine with matching numbers. A friend of my wifes just got a divorce and wants me to buy the car. From what my son said it is a fine car. I will update this weekend.

David I have tried two different times this week to do the pic. I had already created an Album titled Ole Betsy earlier without having any luck in getting the pic posted. I have tried twice this week and each time got to the stage where you click on Upload. When I do that I get a msg on the screen that says "This program is unable to connect to Web Page". Any advise would be appreciated. Harley
