rush of air under the hood???
On cold day warm ups, while driving,it will dump any and all boost. Sounds like someone has an airhose under there and its wide open. Truck runs fine,I'm not gettin.g after it neither. I do have an exhaust leak I'm fixing this weekend. WG is disconnected, aih removed. Can't think of anything else. What's your ideas. Maybe broken WG?

EBPV engaging would be my thought, shouldn't make you lose it under the hood though.

it is the ebpv closing to warm up the motor faster and to me it is a pain.

Would it be the ebpv when I'm driving though? I know it does it on idle, never heard of it doing it while driving.

Yes. It will engage while driving and do just as you describe.

Will any 470 ohm resistor work? I see they have different watts.

You will want a 1/2 watt resistor at least. It is only a soft code and will not activate the SES

Can I fix this issue or is the resistor the best fix for this problem.
