Still have not found CB Fender Mount
anyone else yet ?
I just installed the stake pop up hold downs so dont want stake mount. Definitely dont want to drill holes.
Don't have a metal smith handy to fabricate one. Only one I found so far was a NMO mount. I wrote the company and they are not interested in doing a 3/8s hole mount.
Bugger all.

Yeah NMO mounts are everywhere so I used a Larsen NMO 27 antenna for my CB. If it's good up to UHF frequencies then it should be good for HF. I like the sealed assembly rather than the exposed threaded bolt.

How did you mount your radios to your upper tray? I have the headlight sensor so I would have to find alternative routing. Also, Pro-fit only has the left side mount. What radio supply did you use for both sides (I would want the 2nd NMO for my 2 Meter (144mhz) ham radio)).
I was wondering about those 2 plastic panels on the left and right side of the dash beside the windshield vents, perhaps those might work for your cable routing.
I walked into my usual CB shop and they had a box of brackets for the left side and another box of them for the right side. I was told that they are CNC laser cut from sheet material. I figured they would probably have the right brackets for the new SD since they outfit tons of them.

This is what I use for my VHF/UHF antenna:
That one is a UHF/PO/SO-239 mount. They do make adapters for those to 3/8"x24 - such as this one. You can get those lip mounts with an NMO connector also and as Idahoser says you can get an NMO to 3/8"x24 adapter such as this one.
Follow this link to more antenna mounts
The lip mount I used is a Commet heavy duty mount - the HD5M. They have a 3/8"x24 version as well - the HD5 3/8.
I hope this helps some.
