I had a shop estimate $1700 and 2 days to do it. I no longer talk to that shop. When I poked at it it's rusty but not going to fall off anytime soon rusty so I haven't done it.

4 hours seems like the deal.

I can fit that in my budget. Hopefully thats good with him. He's getting an easy one from me anyways. He'll be doing my '88 S10 Blazer after this for good money and is pretty much a straight paint job with just a slight ding on side rear corner at the window. I also got some other mechanical small jobs for him so he'll do okay with me. I'll post some before and after for you guys and hopefully they will be impressive. He may get some work out of it too. He is in southern MD.

Yes man Im talking the first one. I wouldnt pay anyone to do it, its not taht bad to do at all. When i removed mine I had air tools and it made the whole job very fast and easy. Removal time was definately less then an hour, cant imagine install being much more.

Im not sure whats taking some guys so long with it. I sprayed some deep creep on all the nuts and bolts I could, and it was a breeze.
