not to mention the higher maintenance interval when running it. You are supposed to change the oil at the "Extreme" maintenance interval with E85
when you crunch the #'s, you will find that running E-85 is a losing proposition. It just doesn't work out until the crap is $1.00 / gallon cheaper than 87 octane.

Thanks for the insight on this. I ran 1 tank of the stuff about a year ago and think I got about 3-4 mpg less. I did not think about the "Extreme" maintenance side of it. I think I will just stick to the regular stuff for now. btw, I should have filled up yesterday before the 30 cent increase for the holiday. Oh well.
