7.3 Loss of power

Driving home from work this AM and my 7.3 lost all of it's power. I was able to limp it home but could only get to about 25 mph. Lots of black smoke when I tried to accelerate, rpm's would go up but no power. Air filter was cleaned in mid October and had the oil changed November 11th. I'm a new diesel owner so any and all feedback is appreciated. 2001 F-350 104k.

You say the air filter was cleaned? I.E. reusable air filter? Can you still hear the turbo? Stand by the exhaust tip and have someone shut the truck off. Can you hear the turbo spool down?
