steps - loops or bars/boards?
im trying to decide what to buy for steps. i am leaning towards the simple loop style steps but was wondering what they would look like vs the traditional style of bar/boards.
anyone have pics of the loop style steps on their rigs so i can have an idea on what they would look like?
thnx

Well I had those cheap single loops on my old F250 and they gave it a great look, as it looks higher than normal. However, I didnt like the ability of my foot slipping off and going into the loop to possibly break my leg....and I did slip a few times. Now my newer F250 is the king ranch, so it has the nicer running boards/steps.

AMP steps FTW!
I had the Westin tube steps on my 2000 and didn't like them. They felt flimsy and the plastic pads popped off all the time, not to mention the ice build up on top of them. So far the Amp's on my '11 take the cake. They're convenient, look nice, and have held up pretty good so far.
What's your budget?

Lund makes an excellent step that exceeds even the quality of the factory step. Not cheap though... Looks great and is easy to install. 6 Inch Oval Tube Step

I have been looking at the Ranch Hand step.
This would be for Dad's 06.
2006 Ford F250 Superduty Steps - SC/EC/CC, Front Door
Might give them a look also.
Anybody have any experience with them.

What about the auto fold down ones? When you open the door they pop out? Ive seen em from the factory on some expeditions and such. Idk how much they run though
