Talking Intermittent Wipers that "Park" on our 1960 WOOHOO!!!

We installed a wiper motor from a 1983 Ranger and a intermittent wiper switch from a 1979 F150. I did it a little different than krautwolf did on his 59. They work really smoothly and quietly. And they park in the down position when you turn the switch off. WOOHOO !!!

I made a detailed gallery with some instructions.

It is a great conversion.

Cool man!!! Did you know that the Lucas electric is credited with the first "intermittent" wipers? They also made intermittent horns, intermittent headlights, intermittent radio's, intermittent taillights, intermittent heaters. Well you get the picture Congrats, it looks good!!! I just couldn't resist the Lucas crack!

Nice work there Walston, I think that would be another option I could look into for my 56. Very good gallery.

You have done a Great Job on your Truck this far, why not have intermitant wipers??
It's the details, and reward afterwards,. that keep us in the shop late thinking,.Why Not??..Thanks!

And do you know why the british drink warm beer? Because they have lucas refrigeration. I have 2 bsa 441 victors. a 66 and a 69. First stuff I bought after the wife of 25 years ran off with the neighbor and left me with the 4 kids. So awesome after such a long time without bikes. Actually I mostly bought school clothes and stuff like that.
