I have a 1996 F350. 460 gas motor. Both fuel tanks work ok with the exception that the rear tank somehow pumps the fuel into the front tank when im using the rear. Front works fine. Anyone come across anythign like this yet.

I have read several threads that state there is a switching device under the drivers seat, however mine does not have anything like that. Any ideas?

No tank change- over valve on the gassers. I would think you need to replace the fuel delivery module (FDM) in the front tank. Go to rockauto.com for a price on one.
Hopefully other opinions to follow.

 

Yup what he said, when suffering fuel tank to tank transfer issue the "receiving tank", it is the one with the problem FDM.
