Tuning transmission

Ive had my 6.8 set up on the premium settings with my Hypertech. Seems like the old girl wants to hit another gear before I think she's needs to on acceleration. On the highway, it seems like it doesn't want to downshift quickly enough. I know its a delicate balance but has anyone played with their shift points and have some experience to share

The transmission shift points is one of the items that the 5 star tunes addresses among a few others.

Check out their website for more info.

Lots of people from these forums have been very happy with their 5 star tuning.

Thanks I will check it out. The Hypertech changes them as well--just gotta figure the when. Hypertech doesn't have a forum I've seen but perhaps they do

I would give you my Hyperpac settings but it's set for my 6.0 with the different transmission. Don't think it would work for you.
