I have a bigfoot 9'6" bed length camper, while my trucks are stock height, I still carried that camper in my old short bed superduty and not once did I feel uneasy about have that load on. I have upgraded to a long bed dually and can't wait to take the camper out and see the difference. With a dually you get some balance over the srw guys with the lift, but you will still be a big flat wall in the wind so expect some good pushes depending on the gusts.

To RZAR,
I bought the truck used from a Ford Dealer in Cathedral City, CA already modified in April 2009. Through Ford Truck Enthusiasts I was able to obtain the build sheet on the truck. The paperwork stated that it had the truck camper package installed. The only two items that were different was that the engine on the build sheet was the V-10 not the 6.0L Powerstroke Turbo Diesel V-8 and the back bumper was chrome, the bumper is painted Arizona Beige. I appreciate the information. I will try and contact Ford tomorrow and ask them about any paperwork on the truck that pertains to the camper package. Thank you for the idea. Have a Happy Thanksgiving.
