Finally Got my VIN # !
Hey guys. I am new to this forum, but have been lurking for some time, while deciding what truck to order (Ford vs. Chevy), then F250 vs. F150. I spent several months making a decision and on October 21 ordered an F250 Diesel Lariat CC. I finally got my VIN number today 1FT7W28T4CEB04921 (or 1FT7W28T4CE804921 - they could not tell if the 12th character is a B or 8). The dealer told me it will be built on or before 12/12 - no later
I currently own an F150 SCrew Lariat, which has been an amazing truck, but frankly just does not have the ***** to pull the toy trailers I often pull on 5-8 hour trips. So I went with a diesel. Plus my friends all have diesels and I'm tired of hearing all the crap.
Am looking forward to getting my truck so anything anyone can do to help me know when I can really expect it to be built would be greatly appreciate.

Congrats! I remember how anxious I was when I finally got my VIN..
Check this site for your window sticker, usually hits about a week or so before your truck is built:
I assumed the 12th character was a B based on how the formatting of my VIN is, but it very well may be an 8, just keep tryin' 'em both.

Congrats on the truck- Good Luck waiting for it! I placed my order on Oct 11th. On Oct 17th we received a Vin number, and on Nov 8th it showed up in the dealers parking lot. I have been home twice to drive it (have about 150 miles on it), and love it already! What an awesome truck- you will not be disappointed. If you have any questions, this is the place to be. These guys know what they are talking about!

1FT7W2BT4CEB04921 would be the correct VIN. Positions 12-17 have to do with VIN sequencing. Position 12 is a letter and 13-17 are numbers. At the start of the model year position 12 will be a "A". Once 99,999 VIN's are issued position 12 becomes a "B" for the next 99,999 VIN's issued and so on...
As far as the link to the window sticker provided by 2000silverbullet, check back the morning of December 6th and it should be active...

Congrats!! You will be happy.
I wonder how many 2011's were sold? Based on this, mine is in the first 10,000.

There were just shy of 313,000 VIN's issued for MY11, but you have to remember that not everyone of those necessarily made it on the road. You have to factor in a small percentage (maybe 1% - 2%) for pre-production vehicles, test vehicles, those damaged during shipment, orders canceled after VIN was issued, etc...
