Welcome, Rusting-Nuts(?)-Have you seen a doctor about that,LOL!?
Sounds like your best bet is to find a donor truck and take every part related to the wipers, including the switch, and any wiring harness.
A while back,NumberDummy found that Greene Sales in Cincinnatti Oh. had a bunch of the wiper motors,if you need a new one.I'm gonna get one for my parts shelf.
Good luck,
Steve

Well guys, thanks for the replys. spurredon looks like we are kinda in the same boat but I am really looking for the cheap fix. Green sales is only 20 min from my house but they are kinda proud of some of those old parts. I guess I wll keep an eye out for some used parts. Number Dummy you are "The Man" this place would be lost without you! ibuzzard thanks for the welcome. Ya know I did ask the doc about that. He said either lay off the Cheetos or the porno. Anyway Thanks Guys now I know what I'm looking for.

IIRC I purchased a N.O.S. motor, switch, and wiring harness from Job Lot Automotive. Yes, it was pricey. The pivots and linkage are the same, however there is a different arm that goes between the linkage and the motor (vacuum motor goes back and forth/electric motor rotates). Dennis Carpenter has those arms available (B6Q-17542-A, $20) as well as motors and conversion kits. The conversion was probably the single best thing I've ever done to my truck.

I put an aftermarket motor + switch etc in my 58 and it works fine. Although I live in Calif and mostly don't drive it much in the rain, but the times I have it works great. Of course the kit doesn't come with the "connecting rods? (whatever they're called) that attach to the wiper motor and connect to the wipers themselves-So you'd still need that stuff. and suppose maybe you have that.
I looked through my build notes and don't see the the actual paperwork but it appears the same as the one in the current Sacramento Vintage Ford Book p/n 8192-1 1956-60 $175.
Just another option.
