4.2l help

my 97 f 150 has coolant in oil, is ( hydrolocked?). after reading all the posts, it seems to be common with 97 4.2. will any other ford engine slip in, where can i get a good used 4.2 ? what's the most economicl way to repair this problem? it's a 97 xl, automatic, 4x4. i need this truck for work. btw i'm in northern ca.

Im not saying you couldnt jimmy rig one of the other 3.8, 4.2 family motors in there but if you want to save yourself a lot of hassle i would just get the motor that is supposed to be in the truck.
