2003 F350 Dually 4x4 wanting to lift front end 2"
Hey guys, totally new to this truck thing. I have been a Camaro guy for 21 years and recently sold my 80 Z28 and bought a 2003 F350 Crew Cab 6.0 Diesel 4x4. I have owned a few trucks along the way and one other Ford Diesel. I have been looking at different ways to lift the front of my truck 1 1/2-2 inches so it sits more level. I have seen a few cheap ways on ebay and wondered what the best way to do it is. I am going to use the truck to pull my camper during the summer and the truck will sit most of the winter. I will only put 2,000 miles a year on it most likely. Anyway, I have seen the rear shackle kits for the front for $55 and then other kits that have the front frame mount with other pieces for around $175. I do not really want to have to buy aftermarket longer shocks or mess with my draglink. I just want it to sit level. Any ideas on the best route to go? Love the sight, I never knew it about it until doing a google search last night. I also have a 2004 Ford Excursion that I completely love. Thanks for any and all help guys.
