what electric SD fuel parts needed for OBS?

May have a lead on a parted out SD diesel, what parts are needed to convert to electric fuel system? Thanks

The pump is about the only useful part off an SD, everything else has to be sourced aftermarket. Make sure to get the bracket and wiring pigtail, with about 4" of the truck side harness if possible.

Can't use the fuel bowl or any fuel lines? Thought more could be used.

Nope, just the pump, bracket and wiring pigtail.

you can swap the whole SD fuel system over to the OBS

Thanks for the link King. The guy hasn't called me back yet so may not happen. I guess if it does, I will try to get everything I can. Is there any inertia safety switches or other things like that also?

Why though? The SD stock fuel system isn't any better than an OBS, in fact I'd say it worse because it's a dead head system. To each their own though.

I didn't say it's was better or not the OP asked about the fuel bowl so I let him know it could be used

So what aftermarket parts are needed? Pressure regulator?

Pressure regulator
Some way to split the feed line to feed both rear heads
Plug for the mech. pump hole in the block
Pre pump filter/head (30micron)
Post pump filter/head (2 micron)
Fuel hoses and fittings
Wiring

For the regulater.... look up the TightWad Mod.

I just did this and it saved me $150+

Works fine, saves you money.
