Haha, yeah... The Justin's are the Redheaded stepchildren of the IDI forum world, nobody wants us, lol...

Havent got the 60 in yet, still working on saving up some dough for the wheels and tires. After riding in NMB2's truck, Im definately going to spend the $300 on a water meth kit. Ive done some tinkering around with the pump, and I think Ive squeezed a few more ponies out, at least it feels that way anyway, when I get a W/M kit on, im going to dyno it again to see what Ive gained. Today I drove about 250 miles, and got about 18mpg, so thats pretty good for driving down the freeway at 2500rpm. With this cam, it actually gets better mileage at 70mph than it does at 60mph, at least in my truck. And yesterday I went to the dumps again, and I confirmed my truck's weight at 5900lbs empty.

Thats about all for news at the moment. Soon I hope to get working on the OD box, that way I can get Dirtydiesels T-case back to him...

Ill update when I have something worth updating, until then, Ill just keep racking up the miles.

What else did you do to your pump since last update? Is it something that everyone can do? Also i wondered how long before you got w/m... Lol. It should help your power out a bit too. Also 18mpg is pretty good. Especially for an "old" diesel...

Racin idk if this would interest you but I bought these clear corner lenses for my truck. I think they look nice and would be awesome on your truck...

Memo Imports -

Also for some reason I can't post any pics so here is a thread with them on a truck...

Just finished reading. I've been following yours and NMB2's builds over on PSN from the start. I just never bothered to register over there. It's turning out good. Looking forward to seeing more. Gives us all good ideas on what mods to do on our own engines

awesome build thread, man! I am now researching doing a IDI swap into my 79 F250, and your build thread came up in the search. good read!

I take it you are in the Washington area? I am down in the Willamette Valley myself.

I will be starting a build thread here, too as I get going on my swap. I only wish I had the machining resources to fab up those wicked manifolds!! Also, do you have a good source for the ARP head studs? Googling is giving me few results. I will be watching your progress. Keep it up!

For ARP studs I do know that that Russ aka Type4 here and typ4 over at OB and PSN can get um pretty cheap for you. The ones that ARP sell in a kit are a bit more expensive but there are also ones that iirc 7" and work also. I'll pm you the part numbers when I get home tonight. I'm not sure where Racin or NMB2 got theirs from though. I think NMB2 got his directly from ARP though. Also check out NMB2s thread over at PSN. Both him and Racin have done really cool builds...
