Readylift 2.5 front / 2.0 rear lift kit

Anyone installed this lift without the trackbar drop bracket? This isn't exactly the lift I wanted but the closest I could get that would work with the plow prep on my truck.

I just ordered the stage 2 kit (front spacers/rear blocks) and wondering if I should have spent more and got the stage 3 with trackbar drop bracket.

According to readylift the drop bracket is optional, since they make both kits. Just wondering why they have a kit with and without. One would think the drop bracket is either needed or not, optional doesn't seem to make much sense.

I figured someone here has this same kit installed (no drop bracket) and I wanted to get some feedback from them. Guess I should have asked this before ordering it....

Thanks guys.

The Icon leveing kit does not use drop brackets either. It corrects caster angle with a sleeve for the top ball joint.

It's my understanding the reason for the optional drop track bracket is so that you can install an adjustable track arm.

IMHO...I would have gone with the Stage 3 setup...

Good luck with the install...

No track bar drop bracket? Front axle still aligned side to side decent?

Thanks for the response!

Came home today to a package by the front door....All parts look good.

Should be an easy install as well.

Got everything installed last night. Everything went together as planned. Had a buddy help hold everything in place when putting the front end back together. The drop track bar bracket would be nice, but everything is good without it. Axle is shifted ~1/4" -3/8" to the drivers side. Drives perfect and nothing seems to be affected. I'm going to look at it today in the daylight and as long as it's not drastically noticeable I'll leave it.

Pics coming this afternoon.

Nice job! Your SD looks really good. After a few drives at speed on the freeways...please report back. Be interested how she handles...

In town and on the interstate I can't tell a difference in the way it drives/handles. Only real difference, other than looks, it having to step up a bit higher to get in.

Overall I'm more than pleased with the results, considering the price. It's everything I wanted/needed and works perfectly.
