PI cam in a 98 f150

I was wondering if I can put a PI cam in a 4.6l triton? I want to get more power, do I need to change everything our can I just use stock parts? If I can do this would make my idle rougher?

You would mostly be wasting time and money, ive delt with this pi stuff from years past with my 97gt. I did a new pi swap in it and lemme tell ya, nite and day. But cams aren't were the power is made, its the heads and mainly the intake. The intake has longer runners for more velocity. The heads featured larger intake ports nd smaller combustion chambers. The cams were just barely different then what in our trucks even the cars. We've done just a cam swap and only saw 12-16hp over stock in npi mustangs.

I believe he is correct.
Most of the power comes for the better PI heads and intake manifold.
