Finally upgraded to a Goodyear PolyV Gatorback belt and took the OEM Motorcraft unit off. No more squeals now from a hard 1-2 or 2-3 shift on my tuned V10. Yeah!

Daryl, you gotta do this mod. if you haven't already.

Now, let's hope this lasts a couple 10,000 miles for me! LOL.

You mean that squeal is not a 2nd or 3rd gear chirp from the tires. Rats!!

 

I gotta _really_ press hard to get one of those, esp. with the larger tires I put on. The Firestones were a snap to break loose on a 1-2 shift but no so anymore with the BFGs... ;-)
