2008 Ford F-350 Super Duty LARIAT Great condition
2008 F350 CC, LB 4x4, Lariat, they want 29995, and will only come down a few hundred. But it's already a couple thousand under blue book. Has 66k miles, looks real nice.
It was made 1/08
What do you think?

Looks like a nice truck. Looking at the exhaust, it's a 6.4 PSD. Doesn't sound like a bad deal at all but I would get the dealer to run and show you the OASIS report to look for any past problems. Also have them check to see if it's up to date on the latest flash and that there are no outstanding recalls, TSBs, etc. You might drop down to the 6.4 forum and post this as well.

As a price point. I bought my 2008 F350, Lariat, V10, 4WD, DRW, longbed, supercab with 8,500 miles (yes that is correct) this past June for just that price
It was on their lot 3 days. But this dealer believes that a vehicle sold has generated more profit then one that sits on the lot for months. My trade-in (99 F250 XLT, LB, SC with 64,000) was on their lot less then a week. The time-on-the-lot (used) average for them is 7 days.
PS, I am the third owner. The first owned it for 3 years and put 2,100 miles on it, the 2nd put 6,400 on it in 6 months (and traded it for something that got better mileage)

Its obviously not a 6.0 because its an 08....even if it was an 07 with a 6.0 there is no need to run if it has a clean OASIS report.
I guess I will say what everyone else did, run the OASIS, make sure its been all reflashed and all recalls updated, if the OASIS is clean if its not RUN. Otherwise buy what you like an enjoy.
As for the 6.0 comments keep it on track for the OP if you want to read all the woes on 6.0s go down to the 6.0 forums...but my 6.0 is great BTW

For the OP, that looks like a fair deal on a nice truck. Price might be just a tad high, but it might be fair in your market area. Get that full Oasis report, and lets see what it has had done.

FWIW I think the mileage is a good sign. Check the engine hours, but if they're around 1750-2000, it's a highway truck that will be less beat up in the suspension, brakes, and transmission.
From his treads, an E350 cargo van with a 7.3 that runs on unicorn **** and happy thoughts is my guess. But the bovine excrement tends to pile up around this guy.

I would want an oasis and check the hours on the truck. I cannot get a close enough look at the pipes to see if there are any issues or not.
An oasis will help to see if there are any issues. Look closely at the radiator seams and at the frame by the tow hooks. Look for rust or white spatter. That would indicate a leak or not.
Push for an extended warranty to cover the powertrain at least since you are new to the truck and it is over 60K.
Motor still has to 100K as long as oasis says it is ok still.
Here is what the tail pipes should look like

V10's are #1 in my book.
