1955 F-100 dash repair

As with many of you my truck has all kinds of extra holes for controls, gauges, etc. is there a replacement dash available or a good way to cover all of this.

Find a donor and cut out what you need. Otherwise you will have to weld in patches from sheet metal, fiberglass or somehow fill in the holes. Never seen a replacement panel out there for the 55 dash. Might be mistaken but don't think there is one. Good luck.

www.midfifty.com has a listing for a dash repair panel..... $120.00 and it'll come with some Tootsie Rolls!

You are correct, Mid-50 has a repair panel but it was out of stock last time I checked.

dash

Ungerp, If you think it would be easier to weld in a good section than repair the holes, I have a good dash that I could cut out a section and ship to you for about $75.00. The dash itself is not worth that much to me its just the labor of cutting it out and the cost of shipping it. PM me if you want to do that or post again on here.

I had this on my tuck - I welded patches in and then filled some of the stock holes while I was at it for a cleaner look. I moved most switches etc down onto a custom dash extension at the bottom for a neater install.

How much do you want to spend? I have some cabs here, and one has a great dash that I can remove, and send your way. The rest of the cab is rusty, but the dash is excellent.
