Some amazing scenery out that way. The trip looked like a lot of fun to be on. Good to hear the crew cab made it all those miles no issues. Solid build you did on it and great to see it's being put to use and not just sitting in the garage and a mall crawler. Happy travels!!
I think the top of that license plate shouldn't just say "TRUCK", I think it ought to say "HELLUVA TRUCK".

Spare tire
Thanks on spare tire! My friend Jason and I messed around with this for quite a while! Finally we ended up building a 41gallon fuel tank. And then the mods began! Jason thought this would be cool! I liked it and went with it! I like seeing out the back glass when hauling with trailor! Everything is aluminum and virtually no corrosion possible with aluminum and double wall on btm of tank and rear hitch to protect the back side in case of rear hit!

Yes 400 ford with zf conversion 5 speed. The 400 has 4v cobra jet heads. Not designed to be conservative!!! The truck hauls azz with 33" tire and 4.10 gear! The truck can run 140 plus fairly easy! It can go probably 150mph according to my gps! My steering was a little loose and backed out! The Toyota Tundra that was playing with me was very upset when I pulled up on him at over 130 mph! The truck is a sleeper! Those big Cleveland 4v heads want to breathe and fuel mileage is 8 to 10mpg! The fast 2.0 works well. Should of went more conservative with heads and could of done better on fuel mileage! The smaller port heads for low end torque is the trick! Big 4v heads start working around 2200 to 2500 rpm and just keep on pullin out to 6000 rpm pretty easy! Cam selection for application is critical!
