2009 F250 SD 4x4 wheel/tires

Ive seen plenty of threads on this subject but I just want verification before I go and drop $1k+ on tires. This is my first time actually buying tires from the internet so I don't wanna be dissapointed come delivery day with the wrong size.

Truck is a 2009 Ford f250 4x4 regular cab.

Current wheel/tires are the Continental Contitracs. LT245/75/R17

I think I remember reading that this truck can fit a 37" tire being stock, is that correct? Below is a link to one of the tires Iam interested in buying. Would this tire fit and is it the size I should be looking for. Feel free to offer suggestions or better websites.

I think they'll fit. You may have an issue getting them mounted on the stock wheels though. I believe the stock wheels are 8" wide. I have seen guys mount 12.5's on the stock wheels, but I'm not sure how that affects the load handling capacity of the tire.

Hmm, damn. Im basically trying to upgrade from these damn Continental Contitracs before winter hits. Id like to keep the stock rim if possible and just get the largest most aggressive looking tire I can.

Does anyone have any experience with mounting 37" tires on the stock rims?

And if the stock rims wouldnt work does anyone have any links to a good wheel dealer.

Im looking at about a 1600-1800$ budget so Im open for suggestions. I just want to get off these little slick donuts Ive been rocking for the past 3 years.

37's will never fit a stock f250. Do you have a leveling kit?

Suspension is all stock as of now. What kind of $ amount would I be looking at for a leveling kit to allow 37s to fit? Im trying to go big as possible and if a leveling kit is affordable then I would take that route.

I just hope I wont need to do tires, rims and a leveling kit cause I will probably be broke after that.

Ford Leveling Suspension Lift Kit and those tires I showed you are 34's that will give the truck a nice look and a pretty big tire.

so 1800 is your spending amount?
and you want 37's no less?
so your willing to lift it? 4.5 inch lift is 650 and it might fit 37's says it will fit a 35

Not to start a pissing match but there are a few guys that have run 37's without a lift on 08 up trucks with no real problems, there is a difference. I just spent 2 weeks searching the world on the net for examples. Would I recommend it?, hell no. I just put wheels AND tires on my truck for only $2k. They are 295 70 18 and dont rub. They measure 34" x 12" actual dimentions. I would stick with a 35" tire if I were you. If you can do wheels and tires 17's are less expensive for wheels and tires. I'd bet you could find a setup within your budget also. Trust me they will be bigger than you think when you get them. Just one mans opinion. Good luck with your choice. Do plenty of internet searches!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
