Yup, already changed the valve cover gaskets.. Going to hold off on changing the oil sender to see if it is really leaking now that I have fixed the leak in the valve covers.. (I did find the special socket at the auto parts house)... Kind of clean it all up a bit with engine cleaner so I can spot any other leaks.. Going to drive it to work this week and then this weekend I have a 700 mile roundtrip to put on it.. That should tell how its doing...

I just went through and tightened my oil pan, lift pump and valve covers, all were leaking, now none are leaking, this is the second or third time ive had to do it since i built the pickup. I know it leaks, usually a few drops over night.... but it was getting to the point of seriously WTF is goin on here. Was leaking about an oz. or better everytime you shut it off

It is definitely possible to have a leak free truck. Mine doesn't leak a drop of oil, ever. I could park it in a clean spot for days and not one single drop of oil can be found. Keep in mind that the residual oil and crud from the previous leak will still drip for a while.
