Hi, I have a 95 f150 with a 302 and I think the throttle body has a slow fuel leak. It's oily on the bottom of it and spreads all the way to my air filter(K&N FIPK). do these trucks usually leak some fuel through there?
Put some of the liquid on your finger and smell it, smell like gas? You said "oily" so I'm not sure. Doesn't the throttle body only let air in? I believe the injectors take care of the fuel.
The only fluid that is associated with the throttle body is coolant. Coolant is circulated thru the throttle body to eliminate frost up under certain weather conditions. Check those small rubber coolant lines for leakage. There are also a couple of small frost plugs on the throttle body that coolant could come seep out of too.
