Probably, turn your lights on and try. If when hearing the "clunk" and lights go out then it's probably batteries or a bad connection. If lights just dim a bit and you hear the "clunk" and the engine does not crank at all then it's probably the starter itself.

Batteries are good. Clunk sounds like its coming from pass fender. Starter relay maybe? It ran out of fuel got fuel and tried to crank. It cranked ran about a second. I went to start it again and clunk...
This has been the reason my truck has been sitting in the shop for most of December. Should be done by Monday once the rest of the parts get in. That was a fresh sample. Notice that it's still cloudy. Once it settles it would pile up on the entire bottom.
