If it's your primary vehicle, this isn't bad enough to shut you down... but I suggest you stay off gravel roads. Dirt and gravel is probably what happened to the clutch.

Great score on the truck. I agree with everyone else, get it running (and replace missing pieces like the inspection cover) first, do all the preventive maintenance (like fluids) then start working on the fun stuff. Clay is a great resource for not only mod parts but OEM and used stuff too. Plus just an all-around good guy to talk to. Keep asking questions here as well. Good luck.
I would take a look at the battery cable ends also. These trucks pull a lot of cranking amps especially when it is colder outside, and it is not a fun think to chase a no start problem. Seems a lot of people like cutting off the factory ends on the cables and that exposes the wire to corrosion. Not just expensive to swap out if bad, just a thought.
And like everybody else said, I am very jealous you got yours so cheap.
