6.0 late 2004 wif light and stall

Has this issue been resolved? Our 2004 f350 is having this exact issue and we are currently replacing the HFCM.... The issue did not start until we paid $2500 to replace the high pressure oil pump at the dealership. The day we get it back this issue occurs and the dealer isn't being helpful at all. They wanted us to pay to replace the cam and crank sensors?!?!
It's been a few weeks and we have done a few troubleshooting issues, draining the water separator, replacing filters, again. 3 full new tanks of diesel, with treatments. We're at a loss.

Codes:
P2617 - ckp circuit / open
P2614 - cmp circuit / open
P2284 - ICP circuit range performance
P1148 - gen 2 control circuit
P0677 - cylinder 7 glow plug circuit
P0676 - cylinder 6 glow plug circuit
P0528 - fan speed sensor no signal
P0480 - cooling ran / control circuit
P0275 - cylinder 5 contribution balance
P0098 - iat sensor 2 circuit high
checked wiring harness for known issues, found none
replace FICM and problem is minized to once in a while happening

Wow. Wasn't expecting that.
Sounds like you might have multiple things going on.
I am going to step out on a limb and say that the P2614 and P2617 codes are from excessive cranks.
I think that you still need to post the vreference voltage.
I also think that you need to closely inspect the ICP sensor connector and wiring.
Please post the ICP pressure and voltage at KOEO, cranking, and at low idle (apprx 650 rpm) and high idle (apprx 1200 rpm).
You also most likely have a few glow plug problems, but I think you address those after the other issues are resolved.

holy smokes that sounds serious.. same thing same truck.. 700 miles ish on brand new long block.. probably 250 miles off oil change..
I read a thread on the injector wiring harness being the coulprate.. which just so happens to be one of the very few things I didn’t replace..
I bought a reman one for $20 bucks off eBay.. and when I get outta the $175 tow bill hole she caused me I’ll buy a ford one..
from what I understand it’s a doable thing as it took 6 months to get the truck back.. so I’ll let anyone know if it works out!.. 👍🏻

I'm stumped so if you or anyone on this tread was able to fix it or knows what it was if yall would be so kind and let me know how it it was solved ? sorry to bring up a old thread but im bout ready to let her go even though i do not want to.

Disclaimer: fuel pump went out 1,000 miles later- then fuel injector computer. Now your computer may not be bad. However I suggest to flash it when you replace the harness. My symptoms (post harness replace) were tricky fuel gage & low fuel light. Be driving down the road truck says it’s out of fuel. But I really feel as if I had spent the 275$ (New) 100$ (flash) on the computer at the time I switched out the harness I could’ve saved 400$ on the fuel pump.
which may have just been due to the overpaid mechanic not dropping the fuel tank & cleaning it. (But that’s a whole nother ball of wax)
Additional disclaimer: if you buy a 6.0 & put a new motor in it and replace “most everything” everything you didn’t replace at time of install of new motor better believe you will replace cause it will go out. Get your FICM flashed, I can’t imagine it hurts anything to refresh/update it. Just to save yourself the heartbreak & frustration it causes when the domino effect of bad harness/computer occurs. Look on eBay, I think I sent mine off to Tennessee, but I did it through eBay. If yah can’t afford to do it & still insist on driving it your on a fools mission & get ready for heartbreak! As electrical components can create a wide range of spooky ghosts in your fuel system. Good luck to yah! I hope this helps 😉
