Front axle I.D??

Front axle I.D??
Hi everyone, im new to this forum, just picked up a 79 F250 Ranger....im trying to decode my specs from the rating plate on drivers door...for axle it says C7 and that shows a rear 3.54 dana 60(spicer) limited slip, but there is no third digit to I.D the front axle... Does anyone know what the front axle could be? And also what (spicer) means? I used this web site: http://fordification.net/tech/vin.htm
