Thats just a light dusting of the white stuff! We will have 5 feet before it starts disappearing in the spring. I have to finish organizing my shop then I can get the merc and my comet tucked away.

not so much really. the amount of items that affect a landing, especially if its the first time at a new airport.
I say that aborting and doing a go around makes a rather good pilot.

Here's my '58 F-100 Before and during the CV IFS swap. It still isn't running again but I'm workin on it. And yes I realize the wrong hood is on it. I haven't tried to round up a '58 hood yet. Time and money won't allow. I have a goal of getting it running and driving great before I attempt to beautify her.

Stock Ride. Straight Axle

Here's an update of mine. Bolted on the chrome grille, restored the head and turn light buckets, and got a different trans floor cover..

1960 hood and the grill is from a 59 as well. Still looks good though, nice and solid.

What does a '58 grill look like? How is it different than a '59 grill?

The overall shape of the grills are similar but the '58 has smaller openings. In fact the '58 has 48 rectangular holes and the '59 only has 16. Google up yourself a few pics and you will see what I mean. The '58 is a beautiful truck! Oh yeah, so is the '57, '59 and the '60!

OK for most of you simple questions but for me not so clear. Are all the cabs from '57-'60 the same with exception of big back window and small back window? How difficult is it to find a big back window cab? Are all the fenders the same? I see some small differences in the hoods. I am starting to go shopping. I want to build "Chero" in real life.

Gonna have to go through both sets and high grade the pieces, neither of them are perfect so I will be keeping it all for now. You looking to make a clone?

Mine's a Ford when it's coming towards you and a Mercury once I pass you. That would have to be downhill with a 223, 411s and 33s.......I have such a great merc tailgate I thought I'd try for the merc stuff up front.
