1953 Panel with 19,920 miles
Some time ago I got some help/direction from some of you on a question I had with this truck. I wanted to post some pictures of what I believe is an exceptional vehicle and has good story behind it. I know those of us that take the time and money to put in this hobby (way of life for some) would probably enjoy these pics.
This truck was driven off the Ford assembly line by my grandfather who purchased it to serve as an ambulance/delivery truck for his Funeral Home in south central Illinois. This truck spent most of it's life in a garage and made trips back and forth to St. Louis to pick up "shipments" and deliver flowers to the surrounding churches for funerals, etc. It has just under 20,000 original miles. This truck is all orginal except that it has had one repaint about 20 years ago due to some minor scratches. It does have the 50th anniversary horn button. I am not at all sure what it is worth in dollars but it will be in our family forever and was left to my uncle at the time of may grandfather's death back in 1982.

The truck is 3 hours away so next time I am there I will take more pics of front and engine etc. Probably at Thanksgiving. Thank you for the comments.
