The ABS hub zerk fitting won’t do anything to lube your needle bearings. You have to pull those out and do them by hand. The zerk fittings are used to get grease into the non-serviceable hub bearings.

Much respect for both you and Snow, who used to make these fittings for doing this and looking after the members here.
I have two from the Snowman from a few years back and feel a lot more confident that my unit bearings will last longer pumped full of grease.
