window adj.

Got a 57 F100 and the drivers door window ***** and binds when I try to roll it up or down, new glass run.Whats the fix?I have tried to adj. it .Do I need a new division bar?

That's called "racking" and it's typically caused from the glass being cut too small.

Out of everything I did to redo my '60, adjusting the windows were the hardest. Still have one that isn't perfect and I used the original glass.

Be patient and keep at it.

It's the original glass.

It has been a few years since I did mine, but it sound like the division bar is either out of adjustment, moving or maybe needs replaced. The bar on the outside of the door could also be moving. Dennis Carpenter's catalog that you can download has a step by step procedure on how to replace the window system, it may be helpful. If the glass is original, one would think that it is sized correctly. Good luck.
