2001 F450 7.3 doesnt have full power. loads up/smokes

I have a 2001 F450 7.3 turbo. Its fine when you're not on it hard. When it gets warm and you want more then 1/2 to 3/4 of its power it loads up, loses power and smokes white.
Did buzz test all pass
got 4,6,7 contribution faults
self test 1/2 ran good other 1/2 ran worse.

Everyone keeps saying its the valve cover gaskets shorting out.

Got EGR presure contol valve code. cleaned the pressure sensor tube and put in new sensor, didint help. Where is the EGR on a 7.3? Im somewhat new to diesels.

There was a ICP code.
3 cylinder contribution faults
and a low boost pressure one time but went way.

I get a service engine light and then it runs like crap, but sometimes it starts to do it befor the light goes on. First i thaugh it was putting it in limp moad?
Acts like its starving for fuel.
replaced filters...

it only starts under heavy load, going up a big hill when it shifts i give it more then it sounds like its stating to starve/ surge.

If your getting the light you need to pull the codes again. Does the smoke reek of raw fuel?

I finally got to working on my truck. about 2 weeks ago it got really bad and missed bad. So today i started checking some simple stuff.

i Ohm the gaskets and everything passes. gaskets are all around 3 and glow plugs were all around .8-1, i cleaned up all the connections and tightened the intake and cooler lines. I had some oil around the intake boot so cleaned and tightened it.

My waste gate doesn't seem to be opening at all. ill get up to 3k and it still wont move. I tried disconnecting the solenoid/sensor on the front of the block that goes to the wastgate actuator. i tried having someone run it while i held the gate open with vice grips but its hard to tell if its any better. i still see blueish smoke and i would like to see black, i think.
If anyone has any ideas let me know and is auto ingenuity the best tool to diagnose this? im not getting my service engine light as much blinked 2 times quickly tonight. but im thinking of buying one of those scanners. dealer is around the price of it just to diagnose.

I took it down the road after all this, it seems like its starving for fuel. I got on it, it still smokes white witch i was told means its lean and it surges. I'm going to check fuel pressure tomorrow and flow or just drop the tank and check screens.

any help is much appreciated. I have talked to a few mechanics and they told me pretty much the same thing. I'm 18 and i don't have much money to bring it in. I need my truck back!! Thanks

also i lost oil. underneath is a mess. doesn't leave any oil on the ground but its nasty. but oils going somewhere, maybe being burnt? would suspecting turbo or injectors be correct?

How much oil are you losing and how quickly? Oil getting into the exhaust post manifold could explain white smoke. Does it stink like burning oil?

Try popping the intake off and checking the turbo. There should be no in out play and not enough up down play to contact the housing. Also the blades on the compressor wheel should appear sharp if they look like they were sandblasted it is a problem.

i lost probably a quart 1/2 to 2 in 2 months. the turbo is newer it has no play and is still sharp. i just had the lines off yesterday, had some oil in them. it only blows white/blue smoke when i'm driving, cant really smell it but it looks like oil burning.
