Question Anybody in Broken Arrow/Coweta/Claremore area?

Hello everybody

Any of you in the Tulsa/Broken Arrow/Coweta,
Claremore or Wagoner areas and would like
to compare notes, swap stories or info feel
welcome to email me or post to this thread.
If there is a group or chapter meeting locally
I'd like to visit and possibly join. Have owned
both Ford trucks and cars in the past as well
as now, do all of repairs and restoration except
machining.

Thanks in advance

Tulsa here. Still got this old project truck to work on. I need to round up parts for it, and am slowly getting the itch to do so. I am about to drop the dough and order leaf springs all the way around for it. I need to find a either a cab with a good title, or a driving 2wd half or 3/4 ton to pull the cab and even the bed if its good, off of. I got a 76 F250 4x4, and want something between 73 and 79, prefer automatic, but if its a manual, I could work around that. Anyone know of any sources? Been watchin the bargain post.

Claremore here. Still plugging away on my 65 daily driver/project and gathering some parts for the 58 project. Both have galleries and there's a link to a page for 'em. You'll know it's me in the 65 when you hear my new pilot bushing squeek each time the clutch goes in. It seems to go away when the sterio is up.

It's between Talequah & the Arkansas border. This guy has more stuff that the law should allow! I usually go there early Saturday.

Hey qtrmiler, thanks for the salvage info, what is the name of it? And how's their prices?

greg, my brother rolled his immaculate '78 so were also looking for a good body..... and a truck body, ha ha. let me know if you find something that you pass up. If your not particular about the condition, we have seen plenty of '73-'76 body's but not any nice 78 or 79's. We found several nice 3 or 4,000 dollar complete trucks. Can't afford that for just a body.

Name is Gene Adkins Auto Repair in Westville. I'll keep an eye out but for some weird reason the later 70's trucks are a bear to find.
