Thanks guys, what has been keeping me from using some tools I have conjured up and some of the suggestions here is a flat even floor. Hopefully in august I will my house and garage finished.
anyhow, after some searching here is a link that gives all of the Volare specs
and alignment procedures, hope it helps someone. pretty good info.
There are several DIY alignment articles on the web, I found this nifty one with several tools and levels to align the front wheels, can't find the site though, but the "pin on the tread" seems simpler. will keep you posted
My main concern is the negative camber when lowering the truck. I havn't tried it yet, but I am assuming you can lower it only so much that trying to align the negative camber ( http://dippy.org/svcman/image/0202.jpg ) is useless, because the alignment slots go only so far, unless I am wrong.
You can get the camber adjusted within the practical range of the torsion bar adjustment. There is a limit but you can get quite a lot of drop before you are out of business. Drop spindles are the likely necessary for a massive drop and still retain some ride quality and correct alignment.
Every day I am amazed at the wealth of information given so freely on FTE. I struggle to have my feeble brain to absorb everything that is offered. May I speak fo reveryone and say thanks to all for their insight, wit and friendship.
