that sucks to hear about your truck! I guess you gotta watch where you drive it and where you park it. It's a shame when we can't even keep our stuff nice without someone busting it up for us. I'm glad to know at least they didn't strip it all out or it disappeared. I guess you can always fix what they damaged.

 

I know how you feel. Over the years I have had stuff stolen from my vehicles and it gets personal when they damage things that you built. Punk gangsters or wannabe gangsters (most likely in your case) have no regard for those of us who take pride in our workmanship and work for a living.

 

they just are too lazy to get a job and buy their own, or too lazy to try and make something out of nothing, they dont relize parts arnt cheap for these trucks anymore, *********s

 

or maybe they do.. which could be why they initially tried to jack his whole truck.

 

I also used to live in pittsburg off of san marco , not as bad as Antioch . Always thought I better get an alarm , but never did . Now in Danville but you never know . I hid my stereo and used tap plastics to cover my dash and ditched the bezel . Velcro to fasten it . Sorry to hear you got broken into , just got ripped off in Oakland , took my personal blackberry cell , lost everything in my phone , it was in my work van . People nowadays would steal your used chicken bones if they weren't locked up .

 

Damn that sucks! Where I live I always leave my truck unlocked and have never had a single thing stolen, car theft just isn't around up here...

 

I know its a little late but i got a bezel if you want it.. Im about an hour away from you

IFunny I was just thinking of you earlier today, How's the repairs going on your truck?

 

I havent repaired any of the dash yet. Im debating what type of head unit I should get Ill probably wait till the first of the year when companies come out with new models. Im actually redoing the interior right now, cleaning up alot of the mistakes I made the first time around.

 

I just started to catch up on your other thread just as I posted my note. Good luck with it, I'm sure it will look fantastic. You will have to join the rest of us Bay Area Guys (and gals) for lunch this summer to show off your work.
