Bronco II Gas in the intake!!

Noticed gas (and yes it is gas, NOT OIL) leaking from the egr valve. Pulled the intake off and there are puddles of gas in the intake. I have no idea what to do. It makes no sense!

Can I assume this is an '86 or later 2.9 L V6 EFI? The usual source of excess gaoline in the intake on the EFI engines is a bad fuel pressure regulator. A diaphragm in the FPR ruptures and allows excess gas to get sucked into the intake.

87 Bronco II 4x4. Replaced this same part back in February. Haven't been driving it much. Could this still be gas from then, or would it have evaporated by now? Maybe I got a bad replacement part.

I wouldn't think so. Gas it too volatile to stay around during a hot summer (assuming you live in the northern hemisphere).
