New Guy in Town
Hello Everyone, I have a 49 F-1 and my goal is to get it road worthy by Spring. I also know enough about turning a wrench to be dangerous and I know even less about my 49 F-1...and just to give you all another laugh, I know even less about the V8 flathead under the hood!
The nutshell details of the truck, body is in really good shape considering the age, engine was rebuilt about 12 years ago by my father-in-law but has been sitting for 10 yeas. Can I add pics to my post so you guys can see the truck?

Peanut, welcome to FTE the greatest forum on the internet.
There are guys on this site that really know their stuff and there are guys like me that know enough to stumble along and enjoy it.
Could you put your location in you might find folk close by. Go to usercp, edit your details and in additional information put your location. There are several folk from Texas, but it is a big state.
How about you start a new thread about your truck with pictures. To post pictures you need to upload them to the internet. I use photobucket, it's very easy. Then when you create a post, go to advanced click on the mountain scene icon and paste the url of the pictures. (to do that right click on the picture and select copy image url)
Any questions you have here someone will have the answer. Did I say we love pictures?
