We don't want you to be left hanging without an answer.
Upon review you will notice that this is an old thread. The member that you are requesting information from, PaysonPSD, provided much needed assistance to innumerable members and nonmembers alike. His posts continue to do so today and will continue to do so as long as this site is available and these trucks are relevant. Unfortunately, he passed away a few years ago.
The above link is not working so, here is a link to the same kit that is working:
DI Complete SS Pre-Pump fuel line kit
It appears that he has the hose slipped over the quick disconnect fitting which can be a pain. It depends upon how malleable the hose is. Petroleum jelly is helpful if you use some on the fitting and inside the hose.
Get a catch can and let the fuel that is in the line drain out. It should not siphon. If it does, blow a small amount of low pressure air into the tank back through the line while the fuel fill cap is removed.
